A healthy, thriving community begins at home, and the residents of Gaston County deserve to feel safe at home.

- Travis Page

TOUGH BUT FAIR

Travis Page is an experienced trial lawyer committed to administering justice with fairness and integrity as Gaston County's District Attorney. As a native son of Cherryville, Travis brings a lifetime of shared Gaston County conservative values and experience. As District Attorney, he will work with Gaston County's law enforcement to aggressively prosecute violent criminals, sexual predators, and drug traffickers.

Meet Travis

Travis Page was raised in Cherryville, North Carolina, and attended Cherryville schools. He was raised by parents who instilled their Christian values and work ethic, and he spent most Sunday mornings in church and most Sunday afternoons surrounded by family at his grandmother's dinner table. President Ronald Reagan once noted that "all great change begins at the dinner table," and it was at those Sunday family dinners, where Travis first felt the calling to pursue a career in law and public service.

Travis attended Appalachian State University as a fourth-generation Mountaineer, and studied Political Science, Business Administration, and Criminal Justice. He attended law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was admitted to the practice of law in 2009.

As District Attorney, Travis will:

Seek Justice With Integrity

Aggressively Prosecute Criminals

Promote Efficiency Within Our Courts

To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." He resides in Belmont with his wife, Melissa, their daughter, Madison, and their son, Harrison. Travis is also committed to serving his community outside of the courtroom-- he attends the First Presbyterian Church in Belmont and has served on numerous boards, including Habitat for Humanity.
